Where can I learn to talk about drugs and alcohol with my child?
Learning to talk about drugs and alcohol with your children can be uncomfortable and difficult. Many parents don’t initiate this conversation until their children are pre-teens or teenagers.
This is often too late. Initiating conversations about drugs and alcohol while your children are in elementary school has been shown to help give children tools with which to avoid peer pressure or fall prey to misconceptions about drugs and alcohol, when they enter middle school.
