The internet is an immediate way to get help, both from public and private organizations. Many treatment centers offer 24-hour services via a chat line or a toll free number.

Most states and cities offer informational services and some treatment options for substance abuse issues. Your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is also an excellent option for referrals.

If this is a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1- immediately, or go to the nearest Emergency Department.
